PTA Full Membership Meeting
The PTA’s first full membership meeting of the year will be held at Morehead this Saturday (9/13) from 9:30-10:00, immediately prior to the Hispanic Latine Heritage celebration. Come to learn about the exciting goals of the PTA this year, stay to broaden your appreciation of world cultures!

Meerstart 2025

Meerkats may be small, but they've got GREAT BIG HEARTS!

Show your love for the entire Morehead Montessori community! Please consider making a donation of $165 (or more!) for each Meerkat in your family - but no amount is too small to help.

The Morehead Montessori PTA hopes to raise $50,000 to fund seven initiatives that benefit the whole school community during the 2025-2026 school year.

Are donations are tax deductible? Yes! The Morehead Montessori PTA tax ID is 56-1392323.

How'd we do last year? MeerStart 2024 was the first attempt at a big fundraising effort early in the school year. The generosity of the community set up incredible success for the 2024-25 year. Check out this document for the specific results.

Why am I being asked about a "tip" during checkout? Givebacks, the fundraising platform, collects money during checkout to support itself. All "tips" go directly to Givebacks. Feel free to set the tip to $0 and do not feel guilty about it!

Can I write a check instead? Yes, absolutely! Checks can be mailed to Morehead Montessori PTA, 909 Cobb St, Durham, NC 27707 or dropped off in PTA mailbox in the school's main office.
