The first two weeks of October are busy weeks for Morehead. More infromation about specific events will be shared.

• Sunday, October 26th - Grounds Day 10:00 am -12:00 pm

• Monday, October 27th - Teacher Work Day - No School for students

• October 28th-October 31st - Disability and Inclusion Spirit Week

• Saturday, November 1st -- Fall Carnival Time TBD! This is a free event to all members of our community.

• Tuesday, November 4th - Required Teacher Workday - No School for students

• Friday, November 7th - Upper Kids Night Out.

• Sunday, November 9th - Jodi 5k

• Tuesday, November 11th - Holiday - No School

Meerstart - Kids Night Out

This Friday, Morehead will host its first Kids Night Out for Lower Elementary students who have supported our Meerstart Campaign (click the title to contribute). To attend the evening from 6:00-8:00 please complete the form. We will serve pizza, popcorn and watch a movie (outdoors if weather cooperates). This is a drop off event and we will send specific details to participants on Thursday evening. Please click here to sign up

🐝 Grounds and Beautification Day 🌻

Sunday, October 26th, 10am-12pm 

Come help the G&B crew and NC Wildlife Federation expand the pollinator garden in the front of the school. Many thanks to 🎉 Blakely Hildebrand and Kennedy Embree 🎉 for leading these awesome projects.

Saturday, November 1st, 12-3pm

The huge Fall Carnival is back! Shake out those candy-induced jitters with carnival games, bounce houses, music, popcorn, food trucks, and much much more!
