Good Evening Families,
We had so much fun this past week at our MOVIE NIGHT! Our students made so many staff members beautiful with exquisite face-paint designs (see pictures below), our appetites were satisfied with pizza and popcorn, and laughter filled the cold air as we watched a movie. I am already looking forward to our next event. Thank you to the many families who joined us and to our PTA volunteers for making it such a fun evening!
Tuesday, we honor those who have served in the armed forces for Veteran’s Day. The school will be closed for both students and staff. This is also our final week of collecting leftover Halloween candy for troops.
Do you have questions about standards-based grading on report cards or do you wonder about Grace & Courtesy. Join our virtual school improvement team meeting, Thursday at 4PM to learn more.
Did you know the PTA has an advocacy committee? This committee helps families learn about issues affecting public schools and organizes caregivers to take collective action. They want your input on issues that our important to our families. You can provide your input HERE.
Looks like we have a cold start to the week–please make sure your child brings their coat for recess. We typically go outside as long as the temperature is above freezing.
Have a great week and we hope to see you around George Watts Montessori soon!
